Timeshare is owned outright by soon-to-be ex-husband and I- I have been paying the annual maintenance fees for last few yrs. Husband says that I can have timeshare. Would like to handle this property transfer outside of court if possible. Timehare company will put it in my name but needs him to sign something since divorce is not yet finalized. They didn't provide any paperwork. Timeshare purchased in MX, but headquarters is in FL and I live in VA.

Your husband can sign an inter-spousal transfer deed in order to transfer the property to you. This will make you the sole owner of the property. Your soon to be ex-husband will not have any rights to that property.
