Good Afternoon,
My daughter had bought a house before she got married. My husband signed a personal guatanty for the first 13,100.00 paid on the principal.
all of this was done prior to her getting married. Now things have gone bad between my daughter and her new husband. If he agrees to her having the house in the divorce, does anyother paperwork need to be done.
Thanks
Hi Kmondy!

Welcome to forums!

If the husband is listed on the property deed only, then he can simply sign a quitclaim deed in your daughter's favor and get the property transferred to her. However, if his name is mentioned in the mortgage deed as well, then your daughter will have to refinance the loan in order to transfer it in her name.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
