Posted on: 15th Nov, 2010 01:08 pm
Hello I buy a property paid on cash , I am married but my three kids two boys 16 and 11 and 23 years girl married my husband is not my three kids father. I want to secure my property if I pass away and prevent my husband re-married and trough my kids to the streets. I have a bad car accident and I have a big lump sum, that is the reason I paid and buying this home cash please what is the best way to do. I spoke with my husband about this and he agree.
Hi Nubiacausey!

Welcome to forums!

As 2 of your kids are minor, you can place the property in a living trust and declare your kids as the beneficiary of the trust. Upon your death, they will become the owners of the property. You can contact a real estate attorney and he will guide you further in this matter.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
