Can a payday loan or a title loan company put a judgement on the property we live on when we are buying it contract for deed?
We live in Mn. and we do have the place homesteaded and we are both on Social Security.

Welcome nancy,
If the property is still not in your name, then the lender won't be able to place a lien on the property.

The contract has got both the sellers names on it and our names, so can bill collectors put the lien on this property? The sellers names are on it first and they hold the title.
Hi nancy!

If your name is on the property deed, then your bill collectors can place a lien on the property.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
