I deeded my brother a piece of property and he deeded in back to me just kept a life estate on property as long as he lived. Well he didn't keep up the rent so he had to be evicted for over ten years now his wife want to go to court because she think she owns the property, should I get a lawyer or its nothing to worry about?
Hi Rawlis,
In my opinion you should w8 till the time you get a notice from her lawyer or from court to be present in front of the court. It is a wise move to take help from a lawyer at right time,at present the ball is not in your court.
Feel free to ask any further query if you have....

Hi Rawlis!
Welcome to forums!
Your brother had deeded back the property to you. Thus, you are the owner of the property. Your brother's wife won't be able to claim any ownership rights to that property.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
