can someone in jail sign power of attorney to someone else with out my knowledge or acceptance?

i purcased property and unfortunately added someone elses name to deed. How can i get it back if they are not willing to transfer and i paid for this all myself?
Hi Guest,

As you've added someone to the property deed, then that person will also be considered as an owner of the property. He will have to sign a quit claim deed in your name in order to transfer the property to you. As far as a power of attorney is concerned, he will be able to sign it over to any person he wishes.

Thanks
