can a person who has a poa and is in a asst living home sign legal documents
...my father's ex-wife is tring to get him to sign a quick claim form. He is in an assistant living fac and i am his poa. she was suppose to buy out his interest on the house in the divorce but did not. she told him that she needed his signature to get work on the house. she also stated that she had not remarried and she has but has since divorced. how do i stop this? and if he signs is it legal?

As far as I know, your father can sign the documents. Though he has given you a power of attorney, but as he is still capable of signing the documents, he can do it. I think it will be considered as legal.
