My wife inherited real estate from her mother - We need to get my name on the title without a quick claim deed so we can draw an equity loan. A quick deed loan will lock me down for one year so can refinance it for a year - is it possible to get my name on title with a deed>?

You will have to use some form of deed in order to add your name to the property. If the property is free and clear at present, then you can ask your wife to sign a warranty deed and add your name to the property.
