I have a single wide mobile home that was recently moved on my boyfriends parents property. We are no longer together and they want me to move by june. My single wide is in my mothers name and I can't just leave it here. I can buy the propery for 29,000 and leave the home here, but I need a loan for that. I was working with a manufactured home dealer ship, to trade in the single wide and by a doublewide and purphase the land as well, they told me that I owe too much on the single wide for them to take it as a trade in. I really need help or I am going to be without a home.
can you help me
Hi darlaterry,
If the mobile home is upside does, then it would be difficult for you to get a loan using that property as a collateral. However, you can check out if you can get a personal property loan. You can contact the retailers who sell mobile homes in order to get personal loans.
Thanks
