want to put my wife on a deed on my home, or do I need to put her on it
Hi albertsmith!
Welcome to forums!
If there is a lien on the property (i.e. a mortgage), then you can use a quitclaim deed in order to add your wife to the deed. However, if the property is free and clear, then you can use a warranty deed to add your wife to the property.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
