I would like to add my live in boy friends name to my deed. this is if something should happen to me he has a home. If I do a quick claim deed will he be able to remain in the home as long as needed or can my daughter put him out of the home. we are both over fifty years young.
Hello Helen,
Welcome to the forum.
You can add your boyfriend on the deed by using a quitclaim deed but if this is a mortgaged property then you need to take the lender's confirmation before quitclaiming.
Once your boy friend is added on the deed your daughter cannot through him out of the property.
Feel free to ask the community if you have any further question.

Welcome,
Jenkin7 has rightly said that if you quitclaimed the property to your boyfriend his name will be added on the deed and your daughter cannot be able to throw him out of the property. But to make the deed valid you should notarized and record the deed in your county recorder's office.
Let me know if you have any more queries.
