We are refinancing. My husband is the only one on the loan. In the beginning of the loan process we were informed that we could have the closing team at quicken loans arrainge for the paper work to be done at closing so my wife could be added to the title of the property. NOW right before closing they say NO we cannot do that. We will have to get a quick claim deed on our own and file after closing and recorded by our county in Oregon. Is this correct information or should we just forget it all?
Hi EM,
Unless you arrange for the paperwork, you will not be able to close the loan. So, you cannot simply forget this. It will be better if you could immediately get in touch with a real estate attorney and arrange for the paperwork.

Hi EM!
Welcome to the forums!
I agree with what Adonis has said. It will be better to get in touch with an attorney in this regard and sort out the matter soon. This will facilitate loan closing.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
