My deceased husband named me as executor of his will. His was prepared with the help of his lawyer. I am now being asked fOr a recorded will. When and where is is it necessary to record a will? Is it recorded at a county court house?
Hi mcgraph!
Welcome to forums!
As your husband is deceased now, you need to contact an attorney and get the will probated. Once the probate is over, you will have to record the will at the county recorder's office where the property is located.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
