DEED(GRANT,JOINT TENANCY,QUIT) ??

Posted on: 03rd Mar, 2009 11:54 pm
I am looking at the online result of record search (county recorder) for a parcel. The record is characterized as an Ownership Transfer. The record Type is DEED(GRANT,JOINT TENANCY,QUIT).
What can I assume about the transaction/transfer?
Is the Grantor transferring ownership to the Grantee?
or is it more complicated than that?
Would the details in the record be public information?
Hi Guest,

Since it is characterized as an ownership transfer, there must have taken place a change in the title and ownership and must have been a grantor transferring his/her share to a grantee(s). It doesn't appear to be more complicated. Yes, the details in the record would be public information.

Thanks,

Jerry
