My mother passed away and I do not want the house left (no will). Is there an easy way to refuse inhereted property?. I am fine leaving it to my siblings
I am not on the mortgage and wanted to know if there are legal forms to just say, in essence, I don't want it.
Thanks

Hi daltonsjr
As you do not want the property, you can inform your siblings about that. You have mentioned that there is no will. In that case, your siblings will not include your name while filing an Affidavit of heirship. Thus, you will not be inheriting the property.
Thanks.
