the form for removal of a dead person from deed
Hi flydaddy,
As far as I know, there is no such form to remove a dead person from the deed. You can file an affidavit of heirship at the county recorder's office and transfer the property in your name.
If the dead person has left a will, then the property will be divided according to the will after the probate is complete.
Thanks.
