How do I get my girl friend off the deed to my home. I let her go on the deed but not on the loan and she has no financial interest. She refuses to come off...When I purchased the home my mother loaned me the down payment. My girl and I were living together and she agreed to help with the payments so I put her on the deed. Now 1 year later we have split and she refuses to come off the deed unless I pay her for the escrow fees that were waived by her employer and the commissions that were waived by her friend. Is this legal? How do I get her off the deed? Need help In the state of California.

Your girlfriend will have to sign a quitclaim deed in your favor to remove her name from the property deed. If she doesn't sign a quitclaim deed, you won't be able to remove her from the property deed.
You need to contact an attorney to check out whether or not she could demand the money from you. An attorney will be the best person to help you in this regard.
