In 2006, the property that was purchased by my husband for out son was transferred from my name to his. However, the real estate taxes is still listed in my name. When I reqused a reason from City hall, I was told the house is still in my name as well as my son's. We paid to have that done by Mortgage agency. How can i get my name removed from his property?
When the mortgage was in my name it was with Chase Manhatten. They stated my name sure not be on the property because it was taken out of my name and my son's name sure be on there only.

you would have had to sign the deed at the closing in order to still be on title.
it's an easy fix though if you are not on the mortgage. you can file a quit claim deed. that is just you releasing your rights to your son's property, removing you from the deed.
i would go back to the attorney you settled with and find out what happened. if it was their fault you can ask them to fix it.
you can get a quit claim deed online
most attorney's don't charge an arm and a leg to do them. for accuracy, you might just want to use a title attorney.
