I add my parent's name as Joint tenancy when I bought my house a year ago. Anyone can tell me how am I going to remove their's name since since they divorced after that. Do I have to ask them to sign any paper such as the deed? And where should I get the form to ask them to sing.
Hi jade,
They will have to sign a quitclaim deed in order to remove their names from the property deed. You will have to contact a real estate attorney and he will get the deed drafted for you.
Thanks

Hi jade!
Welcome to the forums!
If the property is free and clear of any liens, then they can use a warranty deed in order to transfer the property and remove their names from the property deed.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

I agree, you will have to get warranty deed signed by your parents that claims that they do not have any joint tenancy any more for the house that you bought. A real estate attorney can help you in preparing the warranty papers.
