My aunt is 84 years of age she quitclimed her house. The other lady has made no mortagage payments or paid any property taxes. My aunt has continued to make the payments. The property taxes are now in the ladys' name. The lady will not sign the house back over to my aunt. It has been over ayear since my aunt did the quitclaim. How do we get the house back in my aunts' name?
It's really unfair if the lady hasn't made the payments so far. Well, the only way as i find it, is to inform the lender about it. Explain the entire situation to the lender as he may be helpful in persuading the lady to quitclaim back the property to your aunt. I don't think your aunt wants to lose the home as I would asked otherwise to file a Partition Lawsuit and bring about a forced sale of the home.
