hello, my husband died 2007. we were going thru divorce and were living different states. when he died his kids from prior marriage did not notify me. i learned that my husband had put all property in trust and trustee signed all over to kids before i knew about it. i had an attorney that told me there was no assets left all was in kids names. i signed a release of rights for very small amount. i did not know of legal rights then, dower, homestead etc. i think my lawyer did not want to pursue suit because i had no money. now that i have researched law, can i get release and quitclaim voided , thanks
hi ms.b!

welcome to forums!

in order to reverse the quit claim deed and get a release, you will have a file a law suit. you will have to contact an attorney and he will do the needful in this regard. however, things may get quite difficult for you as no one forced you to sign the quit claim deed.

feel free to ask if you've further queries.
