Hi,
We have a property that has a 10ft wide sanitary sewer underneath portion of our driveway and small portion of backyard.
After research, I learned that this would allow the municipalty to come in dig our property in case of any issues.
I'm assuming this is a public sewer line as it is 10ft wide. I don't expect to have a property to have its own 10ft wide sewer line.
Has anybody had issues with a such a public sewer?
Is the municipalty supposed to fix the digging after they are done fixing any issues?
thanks and appreciate your feedback.

Hi desain,
I don't have any personal experience regarding a public sewar. However, what I can understand is that, if there is any issues regarding public sewer, then the municipality can take steps and dig up your property.
Thanks
