My timeshare deed is in my name (primary) and my mother (secondary) now deceased. Can the timeshare be sold without changing the deed to only my name?
Hi btmcc!
Welcome to forums!
If your mother's name is listed on the property deed as one of the owners, then you would not be able to sell off the property without changing the names. You'll have to transfer the property solely in your name by filing an affidavit of heirship at the county recorder's office. Then you would be able to sell off the property.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
