my father is a a part of heir property and he is only one that pays the taxes...what would be the best way to approach this matter, so that he can seperate his self form them and have good title or deed for his portion of the property. he has been paying these taxes for years by himself. and it is not fair.

I think the property needs to be subdivided so that your father gets his portion of the property. But in order to subdivide the property, he will have to take the permission of the other owners of the property as well. Your father can can even consult an attorney who may guide him in this matter.
