My husband is the executor of his late father's estate. We are about to list his home for sale in Delaware; however, we were just informed that all beneficiaries on the Will (on record with Registrar of Wills) must sign all paperwork to list the home. Forgive me, but isn't this the purpose of an executor/executress? We have a serious logistics issue involving obtaining of signatures, so any timely feedback is appreciated.
Hi millerjuliee!

As far as I can understand the trustee has the rights to sell off the property if it serves the best interest of the heirs. Your husband can contact an attorney and he can guide him further in this regard.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
