Name on deed

My name is on the deed and not on the loan, and the person name on the loan wants/needs to sale the house, due to financial problems, can I continue to stay in the house legally since my name is on the deed too and the person name on the loan is lessing the house to me for rent and I have not paid the rent or towards the loan since I moved in the house.
let's clarify this darryl - you are an owner of the house...right?
the person who borrowed money to purchase the house cannot afford the payments now and wants to sell...right?
that same person is leasing the home to you (even though you're an owner)...right?
and even though you are supposed to be paying rent to that person, you haven't done so...right?
and you think it might be okay for you to continue to live there...right?

even though this is a very difficult scenario to figure out, it's abundantly clear that you have no business living there now, let alone later. if you contribute ZERO dollars to a home, why would there be any reason for anyone to allow you to stay there?

there's no way.

I agree, and thought that too! So legally is there any thing I can do to pro long my stay in the house, since the utilities are in my name only, oh I did give the borrower a little under a thousand dollars ($1,000.00) in Nov 2009 too.

i don't know what you need to do to prolong your stay. it seems that your borrower doesn't have the sense to toss you out, so i guess you'll be staying until Jesus comes or he sells the house, whichever comes first.
