hi my dad sold me his house around 4 yrs ago. since he has sold me the house he has still lived at the property with me. he pays for some of the bills and paid for all new fitted windows and doors. now tho he wants half the house back! does he have any right?

You father does not have any right to the property as he has already sold it to you. It will solely depend on you whether you want to give some portions of the property to him.

harry, what your dad can do will depend on how the transaction was structured when he sold to you. did he retain any portion of ownership? did you two have any sort of contractual agreement relating to the transfer from him to you?
if it was an outright transfer, then i'm in agreement with what adonis said - he cannot retake possession.
in any event, you guys need to build up some trust, i think.
