Well my father and I are on the deed together but my father is in prison and can't sign the deed so I could be taken off the deed What else can I do?
Hi bfindley,
As you want your name to be taken off the deed, you will have to sign a quitclaim deed in favor of your father and transfer the property to him. Once this is done, you can notarize and record the deed.

Where would I get a quitclaim form.
Hi Brenda!
Welcome back to the forums!
You can contact an attorney and let him draft the deed for you. Sample quitclaim deed forms are also available online but as deeds vary from state to state, it would be better if you can ask your attorney to check out the deed for you.
Feel free to ask if you have further queries.
