I can no longer afford the annual $600 maintenance on the floating 1 week timeshare deed that we own. I've tried to sell for 1 year unsuccessfully. I tried to donate (free) and the organizations did not want it. I want to give back the resort. They dont want it. What options do I have? :( I dont want to ruin my credit. Cant I use the quick claim deed and give it back?
Hi Williemac,
If the timeshare company does not want to accept the resort, then I don't think you will be able to deed back the property to them. You can once again try selling the property. You can list the property at a lower price and check if it sells.
Thanks
