Has anyone had a good experience with these timeshare relief compaies? Are they legit and is there a better way to get rid of your time share ?
Welcome jepsen,
Well, I do not have a personal experience about the timeshare relief companies. However, in my opinion, it better not to deal with such companies as many a times they can be a scam. It would be better if you could list your timeshare for sale in the market and check out if you can get a buyer for the property.

Well if you work with Timeshare Relief, be prepared to pay $1999._$4995.
to get rid of your timeshare and then they go out and sell it. Its very simple they charget you to get rid of it and then they sell it and make money there too
so yes its a scam just do it yourself for free
dont pay anyone to sell it rather find a broker that will list it for free
they are out there but DO NOT TRUST TIMESHARE RELIEF

agreed - timeshare relief (is that a company name?) isn't worth bothering with. the timeshare boom appears to have come and gone - just like the regular real estate markets. buyers who no longer have a yen for the timeshare are having a very difficult time selling, and it's natural that they'd reach out to these firms that promise the world and deliver nothing. it's hard to sell a timeshare - virtually impossible, and we see more and more people simply allowing the developers to take them over once again...and of course they hope to re-sell them once they're back in their portfolio.
it might be worthwhile to discuss the situation with the developer to see if there's a market that they can assist with, or if they'll buy it back (doubt it).
