Joint Tenancy Timeshare -50/50 split

Posted on: 05th Dec, 2010 01:49 am
After years of divorce, I still own a timeshare in joint tenancy with my ex-wife. We both use our agreed upon weeks each year. Is it any way we can have separate deeds so that we can be billed for and pay our own costs (maint. fees/taxes, etc) separate from each other?
Hi,

As far as I know, you won't be able to have separate deeds for the same property. Nevertheless, you should contact an attorney and take his opinion in this matter.
