hi,
i bought the house with my ex-wife after our divorce in an attempt to save the relationship and build confidence. my ex-wife's name is not on refinanced mortgage loan, but it's on title deed as husband & wife with right of survivor ship. it is incorrectly filed and should actually be as joint tenancy.
how can i remove her name or what legal course is available now as she refuses to sign quit claim deed?

Hi Guest!
Welcome to forums!
You and your ex-wife will have to sign a new deed in order to change the present deed. If she is not ready to sign the new deed, then you won't be able to force her to do so. You may try to buy her out i.e. give her a stipulated amount which may be equal to her share of the property and get the property transferred in your name.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
