I have a property title in my personal name. The property is in Dekalb county, GA. I would like to transfer title to LLC I sponsored. LLC is formed in different state than GA. Can I do title transfer without using an attorney? How can I do it? Please advise.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Hi Guest,
You can transfer the property to an LLC without the help of an attorney. You'll have to use a quitclaim deed of the state where the property is located, fill it out properly and get it notarized. Once the deed is notarized, you'll have to record it at the county recorder's office. However, it is always better to consult an attorney while you fill out the deed.
Thanks

hi jameshogg,
except quit claim deed form, is there anything else that needs to be taken care of while transfering title?
thanks.
