6 kids 1 now residing in Chicago, Il, 3 near HoustonTexas, me in Lampasas, Tx . sister in Phoenix, AZ WE inherited a undeveloped single ACRE of land near Houston Only the sister in Phoenix refuses to sell to get us out of the 500 tax bill each year. I am flying to Phoenix. WE have access to LUKE AF base. Will a military lawyer be able to help us get a quitclaim deed processed? In the alternative, should I get one here in TEXAS or wait til I get to Arizona where the sister resides? Does each child need to give her one to get the tax office to send the bills to her instead of my sister wh is financially strained already? THANKS. j
Hi Julie!

Welcome to forums!

All those heirs who have their name on the property deed will have to sign a single quitclaim deed and transfer the property to your sister. A military lawyer can help you in drafting the deed. The deed should be valid in the state where the property is located. Also, the deed should be filed in the state where the property is situated.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
