deed in trust

Posted on: 12th Feb, 2009 04:37 pm
I have a deed for a condominium in a trust. I want to take this deed out of the trust and add my two daughters' names to the title. How do I proceed?
Hi ampt,

If the property is placed in a revocable trust then you can revoke the trust and add your daughter's name to the property. It will be better if you can take the help of an attorney in this regard. He will be the best person to guide you.

Thanks

Hi ampt,

Adding the name of your daughters won't be difficult, as mentioned by jameshogg, provided the trust is a revocable one. If it's so you can easily revoke it and then simply add their names through either a quit claim deed, grant deed or a warranty deed.
