I am buying my parents condo and want to know what is the best way to transfer the property. IT is paid off, but I will be getting a mortgage on the property. I want to put it in my companies name. Pls advise?
You will need an attorney who is familiar with the business laws

Hi vishrutha,
I believe a warranty deed should be enough to transfer the condo in your name. This is one of the secure ways of transferring a piece of real estate property. A warranty deed transfers the property free and clear and ensures that there is no cloud on the title to the property. The condo can also be transferred to your company. In that case, your company would be the grantee. However, there is no substitute to a consultation with a real estate lawyer before any property transfer is made.
