my daughters husband purchased a property on a warrenty deed with a vendors lien last year. They are now getting a divorce having been married for 5 years. Does my daughter have a finacial interest in this property.
Thank you
Thank you
Hi Guest,
If your daughter's name is mentioned on the property deed, then she will also be considered as one of the owners. Thus, she will have financial interest on the property. If the property is sold off, she will be able to claim her share. However, the vendor's lien will be satisfied first.
