I sold a home and property on a land contract to another individual and need to get it out of my name into his and have it recorded..what steps do I take to do this..without going to an attorney.nancy

If there is no mortgage on the property then you can use a grant deed or a warrant deed. Otherwise you can use a quitclaim deed to transfer the deed/property. It is better to get guidance of an attorney to avoid any future inconvenience. You may have to pay the attorney fees but it will help you in the long run.
