my wife has left me, we bought a concil house that my wife was living in before me her, my name was added to the mortgage after we bought the house so the percentage of discount was not affected as she had been a council tennant for some time now both of our names are on the mortgage but my name has not been put on the deeds of the house,
I have paid the mortgage the entire lenght of our relationship but the deeds to the property are in the wifes name only, how do I get my name put on the deeds and were do I stand in this situation with regards to ownership.

If your wife is passed & she has not any other hairs for property or you need no objection letter from other hairs if they present. then you will be the owner of property. Contact your lender to get ownership of property.
Thanks & Regards.

Hi johngrifffiths,
I guess you and your wife are living separately. In that case, you will have to ask your wife to sign a quit claim deed and add your name to the property deed. Presently, as your name is not mentioned on the property deed, you will not be able claim any ownership rights on the property.
Thanks
