We have been divorced for over thirty years
The deed is in the names of me and my former wife. After the divorce, I continued to pay half of the mortgage, taxes and expenses as part of the child support agreement. She had recently died. The house is paid off. There
are three adult children. To whom does the house belong?

Hi Bob,

As your name is mentioned on the property deed, you will be considered as one of the owners of the property. As far as your deceased wife's share is concerned, the adult children can file an affidavit of heirship and get her share of the property transferred in their names.

Thanks
