Hi
My dad just passed away. His wife Told me and My sister that he changed his deed and put her name on it as half owner of the house. Now she tells us that the Will he wrote before this is nnot valid anymoor. In hos Will he Jnamed me, My sister and his wife to get 1/3 each. Is this really tru.
Hi Guest,

The last will that your father drafted will be considered as the final document and the property will be divided as per his last will. If the last will mentions the name of the wife as one of the beneficiaries, then she will get a part of the property.

Hi Guest!

Welcome to forums!

You should ask your father's wife to show you the new will. Also, you can ask an attorney to review the will. This will make things clear to you and your sister.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
