 I am his only child and have always looked after him. Resently a bunch of white trashy people moved in with him and now he has made out a new will leaving everything to them. He is mad at me so I do not think I can have him evaluated. summer 2010 His primary Dr. said he had brain damage however he would not let me help him in way. Is this a lost cause...p.s. The first will was dated 2006.......Help please ..I I so lost and I know he wants to keep his property in the family
I can understand how you must be feeling. But, to be honest, his new will would be taken into consideration after his death and the property will be distributed accordingly. Nevertheless, you should contact a real estate attorney and take his opinion in this regard. He/she might let you know whether or not you can take any actions against this.
A real estate attorney is absolutely not the person to whom one should turn regarding an estate. I suggest that perhaps an attorney who deals with elder care and/or disabled persons will be a far better choice to try to handle what has now turned into a mess.
Real estate attorneys are labelled as such because they specialize in real estate. Someone who has expertise in handling elderly and disability sorts of issues is much more likely to be of assistance to you, sad girl.

You should consult with an "Elderly Care Attorney". H/She'll know exactly what you should do and support you in those efforts.
