Question to Other Brokers - Decreased calls?

Posted on: 14th Feb, 2008 01:48 pm
We are a small brokerage and are seeing fewer and fewer calls, despite our increased marketing efforts. Anyone else seeing the same thing? Thoughts on what marketing is working best right now? (that's affordable)
Opposite.

Increased calls however fewer people get approved now than ever before.

More work for less money... YEAH!!!

As far as marketing there are a few free ways but I can't divulge them on a public forum for all competitors to see :)

Send me a PM or email me and I'll give you some pointers!

I have also noticed a spike in internet leads as well as calls. I think more people are applying for mortgage loans right now. What type of marketing are you doing? Are you doing something different that you haven't done in the past?

Hi Toni, I'm with Chris and Lisa on this. We've had an increase in the amount of calls. Also, like Chris stated, lots more work for much less money and many people are reaching out that are not lendable.

As for marketing, are you bonding with Realtors? This is an excellent time to make lasting relationships with agents and there's probably no lesser expensive way to market yourself. My guess is that there are a lot of Realtors out there frustrated with changes in the lending industry which may help to open a few doors that might have been not-so-open in the past few years.

Back to basics ;)

Best regards,
