Hello Ronmelander,

Welcome to the forum.

Thanks for your appreciation. It is a nice gesture that you are ready to blog.

I have been associated with this community quite for some time and I have seen many lenders and professionals as well as common people visiting the forums and trying to help others with their knowledge and experience. I have also made some friends out here and it is really enjoying.

BTW, what is your blog all about? I'll be much interested to see that. Oh, do you know, you can add your blog link in your signature?

If you have any query or if you want to discuss anything you can surely do that. And, if you want to help other people with information, you are most welcome. :)

The professional mortgage people who post here and answer questions.....are not paid.....so the response time can vary.....most also use direct emails and or phone numbers in there sig lines.......so if a poster really wanted answer more quickly they have an option of emailing any of us.

well put, cedric. i don't know that the success and/or failure of this site is incumbent upon the speed with which people respond to a post. many times, of course, ronmelander, the post is out of people's expertise; also, many times, the folk online at any given time consists of the vast public which comes for advice, interpretation, encouragement, etc.

the regulars on this site - three of whom have already responded - are dedicated to doing whatever they can to assist those who come in with queries about the mortgage industry and the markets. i think that overall they do a stellar job in trying to interpret the queries received and providing assistance wherever possible.

you can tell simply by wandering around the site and reading some of the original posts and the following answers - even when we don't understand the question, we try to provide assistance.

so...if we are "slow" to respond, in your judgment, please keep in mind that the main thrust here is assistance and not speed.

It's a good mortgage advice site. I'm usually on here a few times a week to answer questions.
