Hello and thank you for your time. My dad was married previously and his wife died. They owned land in florida that was paid for cash. After his wife death he met a women that persuaded him into adding her name to his lands deed. A year later he married her. They have also adopted 4 kids related to her. This was all done while he wasnt in the best of health and now on disabilty. He now
want a divorce without loosing his land. During this time he also lost his 17 year old son 1 year after his first wife died. They were financing a mobile home that was paid off with insurance money from my brothers death. please tell us what can he do

Your father will have to ask his wife to sign a quit claim deed and transfer her share of the property to him. Once she does so, your father will become the sole owner of the property. Then, he will be able to file a divorce and he won't have to give his property to his wife.
