Does anyone know how we go about adding my spouse to the deed of my house?
and i assume that i will have to go through a lawyer but was curious as to the process, what is needed and the expense.

In order to add your spouse to the property deed, you will have to use a quitclaim deed. Once the quitclaim deed is filled out properly, you will have to notarize the deed and record it at the county recorder's office.
