my mother put my brother's name on property. After she died, he quit claim 3 sisters. Do we own the property and can we quitclaim the 4th brother. My brother is divorced from his wife but does have children. How do we get all the brother and sisters on the deed. My mother's name has never been removed.
Hi nell!

Welcome to forums!

You have mentioned that your mother quitclaimed the property to your brother. In that case, your mother's name has been removed from the property deed. Moreover, you have stated that your brother has quitclaimed the whole property to 3 sisters. If the 3 sisters now want to add the brother to the deed, then they will have to sign another quitclaim deed wherein the 3 sisters would be the grantor and the brother as well as the 3 sisters would be grantee to the property.

When you draft the quitclaim deed, it would be better if you could take the help of an attorney. He would help you in filling out the deed.

Feel free to ask if you have further queries.
