WHICH FORM DO I USE IF I NEED TO ADD MY NEW HUSBAND NAME TO MY HOUSE
Hi ROSE,
Adding your husband to the title of your house is not difficult at all. A quitclaim deed is all you need to do this. To get more information on quitclaim deed, visit the following page:

Hi Susan,
If your new husband wants to be on the loan, you need to refinance it in both of your names. I would also like to know whether you live in a community property state so I can understand the situation and answer this query in a better way.
Thanks,
Jerry

Hello there.... I live in Texas and want to know if I can add husband to home loan and house deed. What forms do I use for this?? Where can I get these forms? Any help is appreciated...thanks in advance.
Hi Jennifer,
You can definitely add your husband to the property deed as well as the home loan. You will have to sign a quitclaim deed wherein your name would be mentioned as a grantor and both your name as well as your husband's name should be mentioned as the grantee to the property. You can contact an attorney and get the deed drafted from him. You may even check out the sample quit claim deed forms available online in order to transfer the property to your husband. If you use the sample deeds, I would still suggest you to contact an attorney and take his suggestion while filling it out.
As far as home loan is concerned, you'll have to refinance the loan and add your husband's name to the loan docs. However, for this, both of you should have a good credit score and a stable income.
Take care.
