Hi, Can a grantee, quitclaim his interest in a family property to someone deemed his interest without having the grantor and the other grantees permission to? Also, property original deed states, property is to never be sold but quitclaim to someone for a $1 not deemed as family..do this give them rights to property as grantor and additional grantees?
Hi littlelady,
The person who owns the property can quitclaim it to anyone else. He won't have to take the grantor's permission but he might inform the other grantees regarding the property transfer. As far as your second question is concerned, you need to contact your real estate attorney and take his opinion in this matter.
Thanks
