i am a stay at home mother and my husband and i just bought a house , he did all the paperwork and i didnt sign any for the house because of my credit would negetivly effect the loan, he had me come in and in one form a quit claim because he said if i did not i would have to go on the loan and that might jepordize the loan, he also said i could be added later is this true??

a quit claim deed is a legal document transferring property ownership from one person to another or add/remove someone from the property deed. as your name is not on the property deed now, you won't be considered as the owner of the property. however, your husband can sign a quit claim deed form later on and add you back to the property.
